The video above was taken at El Vado Ranch about 11 miles from Tierra Amarilla, New Mexico. The stretch of river you are watching is part of the Chama River, approximately 3 miles below the El Vado Lake Dam. The ranch offers wonderful accomodations and is pretty much accessible year round. The owner is a dear friend named David Cooper. Hope you make time at some point soon to visit Coopers El Vado Ranch.
